Thank you for visiting the HR Search Marketing blog. My name is
Nicole Bodem, I started this blog in March of 2007 as a way of sharing my years of experience with search engine optimization (SEO for short) and how it can be leveraged within HR and recruiting.

I am a recruitment SEO practitioner that has successfully implemented the SEO techniques and tactics that I write about. While SEO strategies have been around for quite some time (12 years depending on who you ask) it is still fairly new to the recruitment and HR industries.

My personal opinion is that most people overly hype up SEO making it seem much more confusing than it actually is. The truth is, SEO when you break it down is about 3 things - Accessibility, Content and Trust. It's not all encompassing as some will have you believe but it is something everything should leverage because it is a very successful candidate attraction technique
